Questo
oggetto è un piccolo strumento musicale. Me lo ha chiesto la maestra
Oliviera per la classe di Filippo (materna). The Sistro was a musical instrument of the ancient Egypt, sacred and dedicated mainly to the Hator goddess. Oliviera, a kindergarden teacher of my son Filippo, wanted a such instrument to teach music to her classrooms. |

La realizzazione non presenta alcuna difficoltà poiché sono sufficienti 5 pezzetti di legno con le dimensioni ricavabili dal disegno seguente: It’s easy to realize the Sistro, since is made by only 5 small wooden lists, having the following dimensions: |

The grey lines are the grooves inside which pass the iron wire 2.2mm diameter, 100mm length (if you made them with drill, the bit is 2.5mm). The holes you see are make for easier inserting the screws. The crown caps are drilled with a 5mm bit . To smooth the hole edge, you can hand use a larger bit (in this case 8-10mm). I had a better sound by inserting an iron ring between two crown caps. And, to finish the instrument, a strap to store it. I have hidden the knot (sheet knot) in the 5mm hole. |
