Alle due estremità di una fune che passa in una carrucola appesa al soffitto penzolano una scimmia ed un peso pari a quello della scimmia. La scimmia ed il peso si trovano alla stessa altezza ed entrambi sono sollevati da terra.

Ad un certo istante la scimmia compie due bracciate verso l'alto per arrampicarsi sulla fune.

Ipotizzando tutti i componenti ideali (fune flessibile, inestensibile e senza peso, carrucola senza massa e senza attrito) quale sarà la nuova situazione che si viene a creare?
